A 23 minute film produced by Katherine Knight and Site Media Inc. Directed by Marcia Connolly.

This observational portrait follows Inuit artist Annie Pootoogook for two one week periods in Cape Dorset as she works at the print cooperative, draws in her sparse apartment, visits family and pursues daily activities. In actuality footage and voice over dialogue, Annie describes the family and community events that shaped her. The film picks up in Toronto as Annie’s drawing retrospective is installed at the Power Plant Gallery in 2006. Screened internationally, this film is widely used in post secondary curriculum. Two hours of interview transcripts exist as study documents.
